We met with students from the CPES CAAP program at Sérignan’s Lycée Marc Bloch to discuss the visual identity of Roueïre, the arts and heritage center.
After visiting the “Bonjour!” exhibition by artist Valérie du Chéné, they began a visual research project linked to the building’s architecture, its environment and the world of the artist on display. We then visited the high school to introduce them to the steps involved in creating a visual identity: context, writing, storytelling and building a graphic system.
The aim of this meeting was to share a concrete vision of the profession of graphic designer, to show how a place can become a visual language, and to open the discussion on how design dialogues with a territory.
Many thanks to Alexandre Gilibert, Roxane Tabacchi, Fanny Hugot-Conte and to all the students for their attentiveness and curiosity.
