The third edition of the GraphiMs festival invites you to its professional days

12 Feb 2026

The GRAPHIMS festival was born of the encounter between La Fenêtre and the Montpellier Metropolitan Council’s Media and Scientific Culture Network, and their shared passion for culture and the graphic arts.

For its third edition, the festival takes place in 5 Montpellier Metropole media libraries and at the La Fenêtre art center.

GRAPHIMS 3rd edition: “Corps et Graphisme” from April 8 to May 17, 2026
A smile, clenched teeth, an outstretched hand or raised fist, a bare skull or windblown hair… Representing a body means conjuring up imaginary worlds, revealing norms that
graphic design strives to circumvent or deconstruct.

The body protests, manifests, resists, structures experience. It is at once subject, tool and measure, and lies at the heart of all visual communication, all perception, all emotion…

GRAPHIMS also includes a series of professional days on April 8 and 9, during which we’ll be delighted to take part. We’ll be talking about the studio and the BASCULE magazine we’ve been publishing since January 2026.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday April 9, from 10:00 am at the Émile Zola media library in Montpellier.

  • 10:00: Rencontre n°4: “La revue Quasimodo. 1996-2003: Socio politics of the body”, by Jean Constance
  • 11:30am: Rencontre n°5: “Bascule, pour une autre actualité culturelle”, by Romain Diant and Laurie Paolin from Studio Asensò.
  • 2:00 pm: Rencontre n°6: “Superbemarché au MIAM: les raisins du succès”, by Gaëlle Sandré and Sebastien Dégeilh – Rovo.

Bascule, the new magazine that sets things in motion

Studio Asensò launches Bascule, a new free monthly magazine designed as a curious and accessible look at what makes the region tick. With a strong graphic and typographic bias, the magazine asserts a lively, moving identity.
