Publishing a lovely magazine

24 Jun 2016

For several months now, we’ve been bringing you the latest news from VIVREÀ magazine. Today, we’re delighted to share with you the sixth special edition of ”Vins d’ici”.

We worked on a more playful, racy editorial line, inviting readers to share our escapades, encounters and favorites. In terms of aesthetics and layout, we’ve created a world that gives pride of place to photography, with magnificent portraits by Laurent Piccolillo, and features typefaces from French factories (including Retiro de la Typofonderie), all of which contribute to a meticulous and singular graphic design.

We’re purists, and we’re committed to designing a quality product by selecting a 100% natural, creative paper with an exceptional feel, straight from one of Italy’s most famous mills, the Fedrigoni brand. An offset paper with a touch of soft, muted color, setting our edition apart from white and glossy papers.

Another new feature is that the magazine has grown a few centimetres in height and width, making it easier to hold, while retaining VIVREÀ’s originality: two issues in one, with the choice of starting with the front (Sérignan) and finishing with the back (Valras-Plage), or vice-versa.

As you can see, with this new edition, we’re continuing our eco-design approach. We use vegetable-based inks on natural paper, select local partners and actors, and carry out our own distribution, with no mass effect and therefore no waste. It’s all part of a class of excellent, collectible magazines.

It’s been a real pleasure to create this new edition, and we’re proud to share it with you. Enjoy your reading, and have a great summer season.
