Domaine Lévéjean
Winegrowers From Father to Son Since 1947
Domaine Lévéjean is a winery shaped by land and legacy. Nestled in the sunlit south of France, on the former bed of the Orb river, it rises from a terroir of gravel and light. A family-owned wine estate, passed down through three generations, it is now in the hands of Michelle and Alban—keepers of a tradition that began in 1947 with the Prades family’s devotion to viticulture. The estate has evolved over time, not driven by excessive ambition, but by a desire to breathe new life into once-forgotten land, growing to a scale that empowers it with the necessary tools to meet its ever-growing demands. Today, the focus has shifted from mere expansion to elevating the quality of the wine and the meticulous care invested across these 160 hectares, that are cultivated with deep respect and uncompromising standards.

An Identity Shaped by Its Land
Domaine Lévéjean’s visual identity is drawn from three essential elements. First, the architecture: a bold and modern form perched atop the layered landscape, echoing the strata beneath.
Then, the name: Lévéjean. A fusion of “Leve” (from the Occitan Levada, meaning an elevated embankment) and “Jean.” It evokes protection, a raised ground shielding the vines from rising waters. This concept is embodied in the logomark, where the building stands upon a pedestal.
And finally, the soil itself that shapes the wine. A composition of water, sand, sediments, and pebbles—traces of time, captured in the soil and reflected in the logomark of the winery.

Images as a Storytelling Medium for Wine
The labels are a study in stone. Cairns, carefully stacked from pebbles found in the vineyards, stand as quiet markers of Domaine Lévéjean’s terroir. Each formation speaks about the wine within—roundness, lightness, subtlety, power. The landscape distilled into form.
Framed to reveal only one side, the cairns take on an abstract presence. Patterns emerge, shapes shift, the minerality of the pebbles accentuated. Shot in black and white, the images bring cohesion to the range—reducing, refining, amplifying. A visual narrative of soil and time, of winemaking and place.

Labels That Reflect the Winery’s Philosophy
Domaine Lévéjean is rooted in respect for the land, for nature and for balance. Recognized with the «Haute Valeur Environnementale» (HVE) label, the estate meets the highest standards of environmental stewardship. Biodiversity thrives here: hedgerows, wildflowers, grasses, insects—each a vital thread in the vineyard’s ecosystem. The impact on air, water, and soil is kept to a minimum, ensuring a future as rich as the past.
This philosophy extends beyond the vines. Labels are printed on 100% natural cotton papers from Fedrigoni. Raw textures, subtle imperfections—each detail a quiet reminder of the estate’s commitment to sustainability. A reflection of the land, preserved in every bottle.
