Les Jajalogues

Authors’ wine explorers

[br][br]

[title size=”h5″ type=”normal”]ContexteLes[/title]Jajalogues is the new wine bar from Caves Paul Riquet, a famous Béziers wine merchant. This wine bar, located in the brand-new Halles Biltoki in Béziers, is set up next to the glass roof, right in the center of Les Halles, with a counter that welcomes lovers of vins d’auteurs. Customers can taste the wines on the spot, or in the other areas of the Halles, and accompany their glass with platters of cheese, charcuterie, shellfish and other dishes from other stalls. The logotype typefaces, specially designed to measure, have a strong visual personality, in keeping with the name. Their formal repertoire of playful, warm, gourmet curves evokes moments of sharing and reunion around a good wine. These shapes also refer to the lines of a bottle or glass of wine. Finally, the logotype reinterprets codes used throughout the history of wine labels, such as a condensed chase, high fat, and an off-center horizontal axis. These elements allude to the know-how of the winegrowers listed and the years of experience of Jajalogues.
