Clos Gisone
Organic and natural wines
Created by winemaker Corinne Gisone in 2022, Clos Gisone is a small winery producing organic and natural wines (vins nature) on 4.5 hectares in the commune of Montblanc in the Hérault region.
At Clos Gisone, every gesture is carried out by hand: from the grape harvest, carefully carried out to guarantee the selection of the best grapes, to de-budding, to the maintenance of the soil with the brushcutter under the rows.
The studio met Corinne just as she was setting up her own business. Aware of the importance of laying the foundations of a strong identity to launch her business, she asked us to design a visual identity that would make her identifiable and credible, particularly for her initial communication and financing efforts.
Its initial objective is to establish the first graphic elements (logo, color palette, typography) to structure its online presence (website, social media). In a second phase, this work will extend to the design of its packaging, particularly the labels for its first vintages.

From earth to glass
The specificity of these wines lies in their vinification, which is carried out without inputs, like a return to ancestral oenological practices.
The visual identity designed for Clos Gisone reflects this artisanal approach. The inverted contrasts of the typographic block echo the singularity of the wines, while evoking the rigorous know-how of natural winemaking. The logo, conceived as a monogram, integrates several levels of interpretation: a silhouette of a face that personifies the Clos, an eye that symbolizes Corinne’s ambition and vision, and a structure that pays homage to both her family name and that of the estate.
This graphic system, both sober and expressive, tells the story of the place, while embodying the personality of its founder and that of its wines: free, precise and sensitive.

Unique packaging for creative wines
The Clos Gisone cuvées are the reflection of an artisanal, sincere and committed viticulture. Each wine tells a personal story: a tribute to a loved one, a nod to a passion or a celebration of shared moments. The wines range from original blends to single-vineyard wines, all vinified with care and without the use of inputs, to allow the terroir to express itself fully.
Lively, authentic wines to discover and share. It’s in this narrative and sensitive context that we imagined the graphic universe of the labels. The aim was to design a visual system that was colorful, contemporary and unique, reflecting the creative spirit of the estate’s wines. We chose to associate 2 to 3 strong colors per cuvée, to build a striking and coherent identity across the range. Fedrigoni’s Tintoretto paper and the Baste typography, signed by the Lift Type foundry, add a strong, expressive character, reinforcing the unique personality of each label.

Ginette & Marcel
Ginette et Marcel is a blend of aged Cinsault and Grenache, made as naturally as possible. As a tribute to Corinne’s children, the label for this cuvée adopts the style of a hand-drawn felt-tip design, recalling the artisanal, manual methods characteristic of Clos Gisone.
The name of the cuvée becomes a strong graphic element, an integral part of the creation.

Macarel
Macarel is a Pet’Nat that promises to amaze! The name of this cuvée comes from the Occitan language, meaning both surprise and astonishment, whether in a positive or negative sense. So this cuvée is sure to catch your eye.
With its two-color label, it’s an eye-catcher thanks to its abstract shape, which can be interpreted in a number of ways: an exclamation mark, bubbles rising to the surface, or a notion of evolution or ascendancy.

Ça va aller
A blend of clairette rose, bourboulenc and carignan blanc, Ça va aller is the fruit of Clos Gisone’s first harvest. The brightly colored label features a single phrase, the name of the cuvée, which is repeated throughout the label. A way of reassuring ourselves about this first blend, in the manner of the Coué method, which relies on positive autosuggestion to achieve one’s goals.

Sororité
Made exclusively from Grenache grapes, this wine is a tribute to women. Sororité, derived from the Latin “soror” meaning “sister”, has its roots in the notion of fraternity, but also of solidarity, mutual support and mutual aid between women, based on the values of respect, empathy and cooperation.
A quirky label in pep’s colors has been chosen, reflecting the values dear to the winemaker’s heart. They come in all shapes and sizes: small, large, round, oval, juicy, dry… And of course, they’re grapes!

La cuvée des potos
Made entirely from Cinsault, this wine is a tribute to Corinne’s friends, the exceptional grape-pickers without whom this adventure would not have been possible. A little anecdote: the winemaker played rugby for several years. Each circle on the label symbolizes a player on the field, with a particular emphasis on Corinne’s n°9 position.
A nod to the sport which, like this wine, embodies sharing and conviviality. Naturally, La cuvée des potos is best enjoyed with friends!

Papou & Évidence
Papou is a blend of Syrah, Cabernet and a touch of Grenache. Corinne dedicates it to her father, affectionately nicknamed Papou by her children, who gave her a great deal of support during her first harvests. Corinne’s way of showing her gratitude.
Évidence is made from 100% Syrah, vinified in whole bunches and foot-pressed. Evidence, because from the very first tastings, the evidence of a single grape variety was obvious. It stands on its own. Like the first glimpse of a beautiful love story.
For these two labels, we designed an original typographic creation in which the letters, while forming the name of the cuvée, also become graphic elements in their own right. Inscribed in a rectangular grid, they vary in height and width, creating a structured visual rhythm that gives the label its strength and uniqueness.
