The Sud-H\u00e9rault Community of Communes, located in the Occitanie region of the H\u00e9rault d\u00e9partement, comprises 17 communes in an area with a population of around 18,000 spread over some 314 km\u00b2. It is a dynamic rural area, committed to balanced development based on a sustainable economy, quality of life and inter-communal cooperation <\/p>\n

In an effort to strengthen its ties with residents and foster a sense of belonging to the region, the Sud-H\u00e9rault Community of Municipalities publishes a quarterly newsletter.<\/p>\n

Conceived as part of a series, each issue of the magazine features a dominant colour. Readers are invited to browse and then archive\/collect the printed object, which they ide <\/p>\n

Each season, a new edition offers a mix of reports, news and discoveries.<\/p>\n

This publication is much more than just a newsletter; it serves as a true platform for local stakeholders to express themselves. By giving a voice to local shopkeepers, winemakers, vineyard owners, and entrepreneurs, the magazine highlights the energy, diversity, and dedication of those who bring the Sud-H\u00e9rault region to life every day. <\/p>\n

Each issue highlights the work of our public services, with themed features, inspiring portraits and on-the-ground reports that bear witness to the community’s dynamism.<\/p>\n

The layout has been designed to allow several levels of reading: you can pick up a few short articles, or take the time to immerse yourself in a more in-depth subject. This flexibility is made possible by a fluid visual rhythm, built around typographical games and illustrated headlines. <\/p>\n

A clear, structured table of contents makes it easy for readers to find their way around: each section is associated with a specific colour, which is retained from issue to issue. This graphic identification system makes the magazine easier to explore, reinforces its identity and makes reading more intuitive. <\/p>\n

Typography and illustration in motion<\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sud-H\u00e9rault magazine is built around a balance of typographic signs, illustrations and portraits, structured by a flexible grid that guides the reader and invites him or her to explore the printed object through a variety of content.<\/p>\n

At the heart of our approach is the expressive use of typography as a graphic tool. Typofonderie’s Ysans<\/em> font was specially customized for the project, going beyond its simple informative role. It became a strong visual marker, capable of conveying powerful messages, breathing character into headlines, and dynamically structuring the layout. <\/p>\n

This modified typography coexists with a rounded font, used in relaunches, framed by wide colored fillets that help to hierarchize content while reinforcing the magazine’s visual identity.<\/p>\n
