Les formes du design
Revealing the Transformative Power of Design
Les formes du design (“The Shapes of Design”) is a new exhibition and event series that highlights design’s transformative potential—across systems, experiences, and everyday life. From strategy to space, service to object, design becomes a driver of change. Open to businesses, public institutions, and the wider community, the exhibition invites everyone into the conversation.
Co-organized by Design Occitanie, isdaT, and RoseLab, the program raises essential questions: What is design? Who is a designer? And critically: How does design, in its diversity and singularity, shape Occitanie?
At the core: 40 works from designers, makers, and students.
Local. Sustainable. Circular. Innovative.
It’s the region’s first major showcase of its design culture—presented through a clear, accessible, and educational lens.

The Visual System As Spotlight:
To Broadcast, Illuminate, and Reveal Design
The identity centers on visibility and resonance. Built on a modular typographic grid, the word “Formes” takes literal shape. Each letter is constructed on a 5×5 matrix—simple units forming a hidden message. As the viewer pauses, the word becomes legible. Structure becomes signal.
At the core of the poster: the circle. A perfect form. A symbol of design’s multidisciplinarity—and the network that sustains it. Yellow points represent people, projects, and ideas. From each, concentric rings ripple outward—echoing the flow of energy, exchange, and collaboration. Like waves in water, design radiates.
Color as direction. Yellow leads. Bright and warm, it captures the South—Occitanie’s sunlit identity. As a highlighter draws attention to text, yellow draws the eye, marks the message, and guides the visitor.
Formes becomes more than form. It becomes signal. Movement. Reach.
